LAMA Care was born out of frustration.
After nearly a decade working in the health sector including a State Relationship Manager role at one of Australia's largest plan managers, our founder Tanya Johnston knew exactly what NDIS providers needed. She also knew that nothing on the market was delivering it.
In 2019, Tanya founded District 360, a registered NDIS provider now operating across Perth and Melbourne. As the business grew, so did the gaps in available software. Rostering lived in one system. Billing in another. Case notes in a shared drive. Compliance was a manual process that only got reviewed when an audit was approaching.
So Tanya did what operators do, she built the solution herself.
After five years of development, testing and real-world refinement within District 360's own operations, LAMA Care launched in 2026. Every feature was shaped by the reality of running a compliant, high-quality NDIS provider business at scale. Not by a software team guessing what providers need but by a provider who lives it every day.
Today, LAMA Care gives Australian NDIS providers a single, integrated platform to manage rostering, billing, compliance, case notes, participant records and employee management with audit-ready workflows built in from the ground up.
